NAUMATEC has been founded in 2005 by two young men previously involved in the boating industry, Claudio Pasqualin, a custom boats builder based in Venice and Federico Fiorentino, a yacht designer based in Milan , CEO of Naumacosdesign and born with a burning passion for high speed crafts.Races have immediately proven to be a fundamental playground where it has been possible to test hulls, structures, materials and building procedures.From 2006 there have been two NAUMATEC RIBS competing in the Italian Endurance circuit: S 68 powered by a single 1 x 8.2 litre petrol engine which pushes the rib at speeds up to 80 knots and B10, developed in partnership with FNM (Italian engine builder) starting from 2007, powered by 2 x 2.4 litre TD engines is capable of speeds up to 65 knots. Both RIBS are Freccia 800 RS and feature the same hull around which is built the leisure version.In 2007 and 2009 NAUMATEC won the Endurance group B world title.Based on the successes achieved, NAUMATEC chose to go on increasing the models range and developing new leisure RIBS:the TENDERLUX range which features small luxury tenders built by the highest standards in terms of technology and style, andthe FRECCIA range, which features bigger RIBS with a sporty pedigree, breathtaking style and very usable spaces.
